COVID 19: Social Distancing Efforts

In response to the ever-evolving situation regarding the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health and safety of our clients and employees, East Cooper Animal Hospital has implemented an action plan to minimize the impact of the virus on our abilities to provide continued veterinary care to our patients.  The way in which we are doing business and seeing your pets looks a little different.

 

If you have traveled outside of the US recently or are feeling unwell, please avoid coming to our practice. If your pet requires veterinary care, please send a healthy friend or family member in your place.

 

Curbside Service

In an effort to eliminate close human contact, we have implemented curbside service.  When you and your pet arrive for your appointment, please CALL or TEXT us and a veterinary technician will obtain your pet’s medical history over the phone. The technician will then greet you outside and pick up your pet from your vehicle. Once they have been examined by the doctor and/or received all care, we will call you to review treatment plans as necessary.  We ask that you stay in our parking lot and keep your phone handy for our phone call. Upon your pet returning to your vehicle, we will take your payment details over the phone.

Food and Medication Refills

For food or medication refills, please utilize our online pharmacy Vetsource and take advantage of free shipping to your door!  The link to this pharmacy is located on our home page.  If you would prefer to pick up from us call ahead and leave a message on our pharmacy line.  We check this several times per day and will call you when your prescription is ready for pick up.  When you arrive for pick up, send us a text and let us know you are here! We will deliver items to you while you wait comfortably in your car.
